it was difficult to leave in the morning from the albrechtsen (my sibling) reunion. the kids ALWAYS want more time. so did rich and i, but we knew we'd better hit the road. so off we went to begin the long drive....

it took us leaving yellowstone, entering montana to see the one thing we wanted to see- a BEAR! we were "hunting" with our eyes all morning and finally rich spotted it. we pulled off the road and got some sweet pics for proof! 
the weather had been quite hot the whole trip. the scenery picturesque. all of a sudden the temperature dropped from about 85 to 57 and it started to hail! can you believe it? and they were decent sized! so crazy!
