after the beach we returned "home" got changed and ate (another delicious dinner). after dinner we got to hear from our most recent R.M. (return missionary)- Jacob (my nephew). it is ALWAYS such a treat to hear from my nieces/nephews when they return from their missions. they have such an amazing demeanor. i mean, after all, they have just spent 2 years of their lives serving the LORD. the things they've experienced are just incredible, some even almost unbelievable! and they come back having a new lease on life, a greater appreciation of life and fortunately for us we get to partake of a little bit of that experience, as well as the sweet spirit that accompanies them. so, so grateful my kids get to have examples in their lives like these (my siblings) AMAZING kids!

the youngsters entertained themselves in the rocks. after jacob shared his experiences we had a big bonfire and roasted marshmallows. (sorry, those pics didn't turn out so great).
