day 8 cont... little bighorn battlefield

we decided to stop at "little bighorn battlefield". now, i'm not a history buff, nor did i educate myself once we were there. i was mostly trying to keep seth entertained and quiet - it was a memorial, after all. if you look at my face you can see i'm a little irritable (maybe a screaming baby in the closed car has something to do with it???)

beautiful cassie. beautiful scenery. beautiful and meaningful memorial. and seth saying "aaaa" all the while. he doesn't look quite happy does he.

 thank goodness rich was there to explain stuff to the boys, as well and learn and enjoy all of the details. he IS a history buff. the artifacts they had in the little museum were really cool. all of the weapons, clothing, etc. these guys were all pretty small. my how we've grown (physically) as a people.!
