did i say "nutshell'? i meant what a nut! i love this boy. boy do i love this boy, but boy, is he trying my patience! he is a crazy little monkey that isn't sure what he wants. i said in a previous post that i'd take the "terrible two's" any day over 18 months..... well, i take that back. i think he's considered closer to 2 now and boy is he being terrible! he has decided he no longer wants to sleep in his crib. so he is in a bed (against my wishes). he is back and forth with food (which definitely effects both of our moods). he is saying more words, but has decided that he'd rather yell or scream instead of just using words. trips to the store have become quite comical (that is- comical to other moms, not to me). if i didn't know any better i'd think that this was my first time parenting! this kid is all about throwing us curve balls!
but along with the "difficult" come the rewarding moments (thank goodness):
he say's dad in about the sweetest, softest tone ever. it melts all of us! (only occasionally will he address me in such a way)
he is one of the "easy" ones in nursery
he willingly goes to childcare at the gym for me, and is a good boy there
he loves to read stories (nearly every nap and every night)
he loves trains, big trucks, tractors - but not toys - the real things.
that smile. look at that smile.
he loves to play outside - just to run around and ... be a boy!
