christmas morning 2010

unlike many young families, we have never woken up before 7:30ish on christmas morning. thank goodness. my kids always sleep as if it's any other morning. we have even had to, on occasion, wake more than one up because the ones that are awake get anxious. this year we had to wake up isaac. i think they've all had their turn being the last one to wake up.

we were ALL spoiled, like usual. we all must have been more nice than naughty this year!

 
this year was especially fun because of how excited seth was. he thoroughly enjoyed ripping into gifts, and the kids, i think, enjoyed watching him more than they did their own gifts. i am blessed with very grateful children. they are never disappointed, even if they don't get exactly what they ask for. in fact, it's difficult for me to get any kind of list from them for christmas. that kind of attitude makes giving much more fun!
