ok, so it hasn't been 15 years of bliss, but it has been 15 amazing years. we've made it through the ugly, and have come out all the better. and the good has been oh-so-good. (rich say's "i thought it was just 15 years of bliss. i guess i've trained him well).
so rich took 2 days off of work. the first day we got kids off to school (it sure was nice having rich around for that chaos). then we headed to UPTOWN KITCHEN, one of our favorite local spots to eat breakfast. just look at the delectable food. i wish i could say seth was on his best behavior.....
after breakfast we spent the day wandering around town, just being together, running errands and such.
that evening we had the isaac watch the kiddos so we could sneak away to RUTH'S CHRIS. it was a first-time visit for me. we actually met up with jody and wendy williams (they were also celebrating their 15th anniversary) and enjoyed an amazing meal (& dessert) with lovely company. a lot of laughs.
friday rich also took off work and we took seth to peggy's (thanks peggy!). we managed to purchase a new couch and tv for our basement. good thing rich doesn't take days off too often. it was great having him around. i love my honey & i look forward to the next 50 years with him.
