kids were ready and anxious to get closer to mt. rushmore. seth found his own-size mt. rushmore - just small enough for him to reach out and squeeze george's nose.

we decided to get a little closer, so we went on the presidential trail. along the way we saw this large rock of granite/stone. so pretty. they also had a place off the trail where they had artifacts from the native american indians, including a tepee.

 

 seth's cute little hands on rich's shoulders were wide open.

after heading back down, we caught a shot of all of the harley riders heading in. then of course we took pics of the most important states (feeling more partial to california and texas than to indiana- weird).
