what a busy day. after the museum we headed to the park by g-ma and g-pa's house for a picnic. delicious chicken salad sandwiches, chips, and watermelon. guys played catch, kids played on the playground, we all sweated profusely, and g-ma jane came for a visit from the rehabilitation center she was staying in (while recovering from hip replacement). we were glad we got to visit with g-ma and g-pa, even if it was for only a couple of hours.
after the park we made a quick stop @ walmart for groceries, then headed up to huntsville. what an incredible place to spend the next couple of days with family for the kennard family reunion. kids had a great time "helping" set-up camp, but even more fun making the campfire, and carving stick, of course. seth loved just being out of his car seat and sitting in the dirt. nothing better than relaxing around the campfire.
