1st day of school 2010 (elementary, middle & high school)

up bright and early @ 6:45a. luckily the excitement of the 1st day make is early arising easy. looks like a good day to send mason to 2nd grade and cassie to 5th grade. my how they've grown....

their tiny trek to the end of the street for the bus. (this seems a lot farther in the cold, dark & snowy winter) isaac (when catching the bus) leaves around 7:30a. but this is isaac's first year in high school. so guess what that mean??? early morning seminary. yikes. yes, rich and i are BARELY old enough to be high school parents (but not sure we're mature enough). isaac is very easy in the morning and is so great about preparing the night before. he's like is daddy- a man of routine. they really stick to the same routine each morning (including both of them pushing snooze on their alarms at least twice;) jeremy is the last to awake, not having to get up until 7:45a. we love the middle school years because of this late start time. i enjoy my mornings with jeremy - and so does seth. they're definitely little buddies! jeremy's just begun 7th grade and (knock on wood) says it's definitely the EASY year. so that's it. this is the beginning of having kids in elementary, middle and high school. and it will be that way for the next several years. yes, i live in the car - just like the rest of you mom's!

Wow, high school. Weird, huh? I didn't realize Cassie is 5th grade, just like Alex. I'm glad I don't live in my car :) They're all so cute, especially Jeremy, just love his smile.

Isaac in high school? You've got to be kidding me. I remember when you had just had Jeremy, and sweet, little Isaac would run around the front yard with his football, and point to any spot on the wall and yell in fear, "Bug!" He can't be in high school. He just can't. I won't allow it.
