inspite of
seth's cranky mood, and the need for a day of grocery shopping, me and the kids (minus
cassie) decided to hit the beach.
what a great day it turned out to be. when we first got there we weren't allowed to get into the water because of a strong rip currant. after an hour we were finally allowed in. and i must say the boys had a blast. these were the biggest waves we've ever had at lake
michigan. we
could've probably even brought AND used our
boogey board this time!
the boys also had a great time playing catch, digging and burying each other in the sand, as well as messing around on the playground.
me and
seth.... well, he was still cranky - at least for the first hour or so. then he finally was willing to play a little bit. but for the most part he was in my arms - either enjoying people watching or sleeping.
