so that was that. rich loaded a sick isaac on this plane and he was off to UT for a week....to BYU to attend EFY (Especially for Youth), a youth camp packed full of kids from all over the world, coming together as members of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, to learn and grow and develop friendships, while being spiritually fed. isaac's favorite day was thursday, the "spiritual day", in which they had to wear church clothes all day, attended classes, and participated in a testimony meeting. what more could a parent ask for than to have their 14-year-old son say this was the best week of his life?! we love our isaac! we sure missed him but it was worth it.

isaac's counselor "STEVE", but really his name was michael. (yes, isaac is being goofy in this picture). isaac really admired this guy - he was extremely talented, good-natured, funny, fun, and a great mentor.
