that's one thing there is not a shortage of in indiana, ROADKILL. so i passed this LIVE turtle on the way to church. it was in the road, kind of off to the side. i had to look in my rear view mirror to confirm that it was, in fact, a turtle. i thought, "poor llittle turtle, it'll probably be roadkill by the time i'm coming home from church". then i get this pix message on my phone of this turtle (above). apparently rich saw the same turtle, pulled over and took a pix of it, then moved it out of the road.
seriously? what a guy- a very sweet and sensitive guy!
