winter tubing fun

     

i'm ashamed to admit that after living her for 5 1/2 years, this is the first time, as a family, that we've gone tubing/sledding. what a shame, i know. the kids had a fantastic time. it was a perfect day for it, with not too many people to worry about running over! and luckily rich is "just one of the kids", cuz i'm certain they had more fun with him than with me!


  

i definitely wouldn't say that seth had a "fantastic" time. he survived. he was a really good boy. he wasn't sure about all of the "gear" he had to wear. he cried while putting it all on, refused to walk in the snow, didn't want to go on the tubes (but we forced him a couple of times). when we made it back to the car, and i took off his boots and gloves, his hands and feet were FROZEN, and his toes were all TWEAKED. apparently his boots didn't fit. SO, SO SAD. if i had to do it all over again, i'd just have him wrapped in a blanket. so glad i bought all of his snow-gear second hand, since i'm sure this is only the second, but probably last time he'll wear it!

       


can i just say SNOWFLAKES are MIRACULOUS! after looking at the details of these snowflakes, i cannot imagine EVER questioning whether or not there is a GOD. and not only is there a God, but he is also an ARTIST. i find myself awe-struck each time i see flakes like this!




isn't this picture amazing? i didn't alter it all. i think it's so artistic.
(it helps that my husband has beautiful eyes and eyelashes!)
