so we were VERY disappointed to find out that not only was halloween on sunday, but that our town was trick-or-treating on sunday. bummer. but after a little research on the lasley's part, we found out that elkhart county would be holding trick-or-treating on saturday. we went to a great neighborhood with the lasley's, larsen's and jeppsen's and had a wonderful time. the weather couldn't have been more perfect. it was a lovely evening with great friends. and did you check out the AWESOME costumes? i think morgan won for her alice in wonderland MAD HATTER costume.
since isaac and jeremy didn't really dress up, they mostly just helped with seth. it was the first year that none of the kids were over-excited about filling up their bags with candy. whatever we got was enough - and obviously it wasn't too much because it was ALL GONE with-in about 1 week! (now remember, we can't have any candies with nuts/traces of nuts - so that cuts down our load quite a bit!)
oh, and cassie wig was quite a hit. it was so TALL and AKWARD, but the boys had fun trying it on.
