after 3 ear infections this summer we finally decided it was time to get tubes. so on sept. 23 we did it. although is appt. was early, he didn't understand why i wouldn't give him food. we got to the surgi-center and he did really well there. it wasn't until the nurse came and took him away that he started screaming. but within like 20-30 min he was done. they had already dressed him and he was ready to go. poor baby. we ended up clipping his tongue as well, being that he was super tongue-tied and figured since he was going under anyway, we may as well do it. hopefully that will prove to be a good decision.
as you can see, he was fine within a few hours. we got to enjoy a beautiful day outside.

you've probably already realized this but you made a good decision on clipping his tongue. my brother was this way and didn't get clipped until late elementary school...not a good choice.
