i have a very stubborn child. i get one benefit of that is that he'll learn quick the things he really want to do. seth insists on feeding himself. he also insists on metal utensils. here is our compromise- small (almost doll size) utensils cassie got for christmas. even tho they're small, they're real and not too sharp.
