one of the most amazing and magical things, i think, here in indiana are the FIREFLIES. i think it is just amazing how they can light up.
catching fireflies is not an easy task - although every year the kids try. they usually want to keep them, but they are only allowed to "catch & release" cassie almost caught this one (look closely & you can see it just above her hand)
and this is what they look like in a picture! they're quick, and only light up momentarily.
