rich took the kids in the morning to the church for the traditional memorial day breakfast.
around noon we headed to a park. originally we were going to go to the beach but the weather made us change to the park (thunder storms/tornado watch). luckily one of us was prepared - (
sarah), who brought water guns and water balloons. that definitely kept the kids entertained and cool.
seth and
cole stayed entertained in the bark/dirt. and the adult had a great time just
hangin' out and visiting. feels like a while since we've been able to do that! hopefully we'll have a summer full of it!
later that night we all went to the
hurst's for dinner, dessert, and more
hangin' out. unfortunately i forgot my camera. it was a great, relaxing day!
