after a lot of research in a short amount of time, and for a lack of any better options, we decided to take a few days and go to castaway bay, in
sandusky,
ohio- not too far away (about 3 1/2 hrs) and not too much to pack, it was just what we needed.
seth has his first
waterpark experience and he loved it! it was actually difficult to keep him out of the barely warm water.
thank goodness there was a not-too-hot "
hottub" that we enjoyed off and on.
this was
everyone's favorite
waterslide. it was like a mini roller-coaster. but in the end i think the boys (including rich) would definitely agree that their favorite part was bombing passer-
by's with various water equipment on the large play structure.
