a nice big ending

what would a 40th b-day be without a big, humiliating cake topped with 40 candles- blown out in two breaths, rather than one!

and enough smoke to just about set-off the smoke alarms. it was a wonderful evening with great friends, good laughs, and a perfect guest of honor!
