turkey bowl

it is kennard tradition to participate in the turkey bowl, which happen in whatever state we happen to be living in. i am glad he (and the older boys) have been able to participate in such an activity over the years. but really, as the story goes, every year rich forewarns me, "we are playing football for as long as we'd like, and then i will come home, shower and look cute for everyone. but i will not be able to function AT ALL due to how hard i had to play, as well as the fact that i'm getting too old to play and can therefore not move much after i have showered." which also translates to - "you will need to feel sorry for me all day and listen to me moan and complain about how sore i am, while i relive my glory days of being the best darn quarterback there ever was!" i love my quarterback. one of the things i love most about him is how athletic he is and continues to be- when given the opportunity. he's still got it, although he continues to think that he's "getting too old". i'm sure he'll continue to participate in the turkey bowl. so why the picture of the sexy legs??? the knee on the left was badly injured during one of the last plays. although he had a rough few days following the "accident", his knee has gotten better. doctor said it should heal fine, it'll just take a while. three weeks later and he's still dealing with a lot of pain, but hopefully things are on the mend.
