for isaac's birthday- all he wanted was a cell phone. so we made a trip to verizon, then off to tgi fridays to celebrate his big day. don't be fooled, the cell phone was more for me than for him. but i've reminded him that the only reason he has one at 12 instead of 14 is because he is so responsible. isaac is such a good boy, who continues to do so well in school (4.0 again this quarter), on top of 2 hrs. of basketball every day (6x week), as well as scouts (now ym) on wed's. so he's proven he can handle the responsibility of a phone. oh, and now his younger siblings think he's like a celebrity or something with his phone. funny.
