bye, bye birdie(s)
after a little over a year, we decided it was time to say "farewell" to lemon and skyler. they were good birds, but we are just not pet people. we don't hate 'em, we're just not meant to have them. they have a new home with someone from rich's work. the kids survived just fine. (we do still have a little minnow

sure that counts as a pet...we count the fat spider in the web outside our back door our "pet". It's actually quite fascinating to watch it catch dinner and spin more web.
