jeremy decided to have a football party this year for his 9th b-day.
it was a hot day so the boys took their T's off. after they played flag football and sharks & minnows they decided a shower from the hose would be good.

to our sudden surprise, right when they started eating, we heard the tornado sirens. it took a few minutes for mom to realize that it was the tornado warning rather than an ambulance that kept driving by. some of the kids moms got to the house (not the best weather to be driving in) and took their kids home. luckily connor and soren's mom didn't want to drive it in so we all headed to the basement and opened gifts there. becky & kids were there, and some of the kids were a little freaked out, but all in all things went well and it made for a memorable birthday party!
